Why Pallottine?

Since November 24, 1953, Saint Stephen Catholic Church has been run by the priests from the Irish Pallottine Fathers (Society of the Catholic Apostolate), the Mother of Divine Love Province. Our new activities center will be named after the founder, St Vincent Pallotti. Over the past 70 years, the Pallottines have generously served this incredible parish!

The new Pallottine Building will be a second home where our youth ministry, adult ministries, and organizations will have a place to gather. Pallottine will be a multi-purpose facility to host our parish-wide events, such as the Fall Fiesta or Cinco de Mayo, with indoor and outdoor event spaces, and will meet the needs of all our parish organizations. Parishioners will have the opportunity to enjoy Pallottine for wedding receptions, quinceañeras, fundraisers, and more. Although we are close to our groundbreaking goal, we need your help to move forward. All donations and pledges in any amount are welcome, and every single dollar will help us succeed in our pursuit to make Pallottine the space that this growing parish urgently needs.

In November, our parish will celebrate 70 years of the Pallottine Fathers here at St. Stephen. The Rector General, Fr. Zenon Hanas, and the Vice-Rector General, Fr. Derry Murphy, will travel from Rome and will make a pastoral visit to our parish on the first weekend of November. It will be a great chance to meet them and join the Rector General in blessing the Pallottine site. We will have two Anniversary Masses on Saturday, November 4th, at 5 PM and Sunday, November 5th, at 12.30 PM to mark this joyous occasion.

Pallottine Building Contract Signing

On Monday, September 11, 2023, Father Emmet signed the contracts to commence the construction of the new Pallottine Building. It is a moment of great joy for us as we have successfully raised enough funds to start the groundbreaking. The Pallottine Building Committee and the Fall Festival Committee have collaborated to plan the official groundbreaking ceremony, which will take place on Saturday, September 16, 2023, and mark the beginning of the Fall Fiesta.

Mission Statement

When beginning our building project in 2019, the congregation decided to set up a Building Fund for Pallottine. We are relaunching our “Pledge Drive” to renew/update commitments to supporting the Pallottine Campaign. Those who are willing to participate are asked to make a “Pledge” for the next three years so that we can plan accordingly.

Our goal is 100% participation from the congregation’s members or households, whether through gifts, prayers, or both. Thank you for prayerfully considering your participation in this ministry.

Prayer for Pallottine Building

We make this prayer through Christ our Lord.

The parish family at Saint Stephen Catholic Church has seen rapid growth in recent years. With this growth, we've also found the need to grow our facilities. We have come together with the hopes of building an additional building on our property that will allow more space for youth activities, parish organizations and a venue for our parish members.

To complete the Pallottine Building successfully, we will need support in many ways from the members of Saint Stephen Catholic Church. We are very excited to see the blessings that this project will hold and to see our parish growing for the future.

The plan includes an open-concept layout with a basketball court-sized room, kitchen, fireplace, spacious loft and classrooms. With your generosity and prayers, our hope is to break ground this fall. Feel free to take a look at the pictures of the plans and layout of the building located in the Holy Spirit Center.
