Holy Matrimony
Love, Faith, Hope, Charity, Commitment, Friendship, Laughter, Home, Family. Marriage is a visible sign of the invisible God-in-our-midst. By joining hearts in the living sacrament of marriage, two persons baptized in Christ, committed to God and to each other in exclusivity, are a reflection of God's unconditional love.
By remaining faithful to one another through the ups and downs of human interaction, the challenges of daily life, and by continually inviting the grace of God into their lives for spiritual growth and transformation, by 'seeing God' in each other's heart, by upholding, supporting and nurturing one another, each partner learns to contribute what the other lacks, to grow stronger and better as two together, examples of the living God, and of the power of grace to transform imperfections into gifts of the spirit.
