SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENT DE PAUL

Inspired by Gospel values, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, a Catholic lay organization, leads women and men to join to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to those who are needy and suffering in the tradition of its founder, Blessed Frederic Ozanam, and patron, St. Vincent de Paul.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is composed of women and men who seek their personal holiness through works of charity. In this essential way, the Society differed from charitable associations or agencies whose principal objective is not the spiritual advancement of their members but the doing of good for someone else.

Organized locally, Vincentians witness God's love by embracing all works of charity and justice. The Society collaborates with other people of goodwill in relieving need and addressing its causes, making no distinction in those served because, in them, Vincentians see the face of Christ.

Donations

We are called to love our neighbors. When you give to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, you give love, help, and hope to neighbors in need across the country. You’re supporting the work of our council as they share help and hope with neighbors in need, along with material aid like food and clothing, housing, rent and utility assistance, and more.

Your kindness and generosity make all the difference for our neighbors in need. Thank you for giving them love, help, and hope – today, and throughout the Advent and Christmas Season.

Please donate today.

“Please Help Me"

Click to donate to St. Vincent de Paul!

Those are the three hardest words for anybody to say.

The St. Stephen Conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul was founded by Catholics to live our faith through charity; to help those most in need; to love and serve the Lord by loving and serving our neighbors.

Through your generous contributions, we are able to provide support to families within our Weatherford community who are experiencing difficulties within our social structures. The funds are used to rescue families who find themselves in an unexpected crisis situation and provide temporary financial assistance, education, and support to help them become self-sufficient.

♦ Your tax-deductible donation in any amount is much needed and greatly appreciated!

The need is real and ever increasing. We cannot help our clients without your generous donations. Your donations help needy and suffering parishioners as well as those living within our Community.

THANK YOU

Dear Saint Vincent de Paul Society,

Thank you for the service you provide to those in need. Your act of generosity brought to my attention the lack of mind and I am grateful. I did not realize the need was so great and that is my failing. I have a responsibility to help those in need and I am fortunate to be able to do so. Therefore, I am returning your gift of assistance with no other payment required from Ms. Grant for December and will offer another month of reduced rent payment. After that she and I will discuss the financial situation and adjust as needed.

Thank you more than I can say for the 'gift' you gave to me this holiday season to be more mindful and please accept this check too be used for others who may be in immediate need.

A mindful Landlord.
