Community Resources

Center of Hope

In April 1998, the Provision Center was established as a 501(c)(3) helping with food and clothing to individuals in our community. By 2003, we had outgrown our facility, moved to our present location, changed our name to Parker County Center of Hope, and began to add programs and services to address the needs of our growing community. Today, with nearly 20 years of experience, we provide crisis assistance and long-term solutions out of poverty to thousands of families living in Parker County. We help those who are hungry, homeless, uneducated, unemployed, working but still living at the poverty level, single moms, the elderly, the disabled, disadvantaged youth and children, and families in crisis.

Seeds of Life

Flourishing Tree is a family and pregnancy resource center. Flourishing Tree supports families physically and spiritually on their journey. Our vision is restoring families with the foundation of respecting life and honoring God. We provide counseling with a certified licensed counselor, pregnancy tests, adoption information, referrals to other community agencies and medical resources, materials assistance- maternity, baby clothing, and food, temporary shelter, and assistance with education. All of these services are confidential, free, and given in a non-judgmental atmosphere of understanding and support.

Assisted Living

At the Assisted Living Research Institute, we have analyzed the senior living landscape across the United States, compiling data on over 20,000 assisted living facilities. In the state of Texas, which hosts over 1,000 facilities, the average cost is $3,795 per month – $200 less than the national average.
