Jeremiah 17:7

“Blessed is the man who
trusts in the Lord,

whose trust is the Lord.”

Hello Everyone!

I am Keri Páez, the Director of Digital Communications. I am in charge of the bulletins, social media, and the St. Stephen website. I was born and raised in Benbrook on the southwest side of Fort Worth. I was a dancer for 27 years (tap, ballet, jazz, clogging, lyrical, modern, contemporary, musical theatre, and Latin ballroom styles) and was involved in cheer and gymnastics.

My first stint in college was at Texas Christian University for Nursing and Early Childhood Education with the goal of teaching Natural Family Planning. After the deaths of my daughter Kayla Grace and son Justin Antonio, I started computer based art therapy during grief support learning how to design graphics and images that went on the web pages and how to code websites with HTML/CSS. I fell in love with designing and creating advertisements and web graphics. I then switched career paths and I have been a graphic designer and graphic artist for over 23 years; including social media management and website design. I obtained my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design with a minor in Creative Writing from Liberty University. I chose that school because they incorporated God and the Bible into every assignment.

During my career I have worked in the magazine industry with seven national monthly publications, and 17 annual yellow page phone books. I have also worked with Warner Bros and DC Comics illustrating Yogi Bear characters for Jellystone Parks. I have owned my company Artistic Adaptations for 23 years. Some of my clients have had national campaigns run in Lowe’s and other garden centers, and one of my advertisements was turned into an eight story banner in Atlanta for a convention.

My parents raised my brothers and I as Christians and let us decide what religion suited us best. I chose Catholicism officially when I turned 18 because it was the religion that spoke to my heart and soul. My son Nathan Alexander Páez, who turned 20 in October 2023, was raised Catholic and attended Catholic schools in Fort Worth. He is currently studying at Stephen F. Austin University as a pre-med major with aspirations in neurosurgery.

I am very excited to be here at Saint Stephen Catholic Church. Feel free to contact me anytime at keri@saintstephencc.org with items that you would like to see in the bulletin, social media, or on the website.

God Bless,

Keri Páez
